As the spokesperson for the industry in France, INGRECOS engages in dialogue with public authorities and professional organizations involved in the cosmetic ingredients supply chain to defend the interests of its members.
At the European level, INGRECOS represents the French branch of the EFfCI, which accounts for over 70% of the European cosmetic ingredients industry, with more than 140 member companies.

Founded in 1945 under the name ASPA, the association initially brought together surfactant producers before adding a section for cosmetic ingredients, INGRECOS.

The association became ASPA-INGRECOS.

The two sections merged under the name INGRECOS: a simplification that better reflects the association’s activities, now fully focused on promoting all cosmetic ingredients and addressing their regulatory and societal developments.
